UPDATE:
I called Invicta this morning at 866-88WATCH.
Hold time less than 2 minutes, and I spoke to Libby, who was to transfer me to the Parts Dept. to see if I could order the bezel insert. She asked if I was a jeweler, and she said they may not sell it to me. Put me on hold, and my call went back to the main menu. After less than 2 minutes, I spoke to Daisy, who immediately upon hearing my request, said she would connect me with another representative. After about 2 minutes more, I spoke to Andrew, who reiterated that Rebecca was not in, but would be in about 30 minutes. He offered to try to help, and subsequently took the order for the part ($21 for the bezel insert plus $6 shipping). He said it would take at least two weeks to come from Switzerland, which is funny for a Miyota powered diver, but he said that's where the parts are and where the watches were assembled. He said he would ask for a Rush Order, took my credit card and shipping info and gave me an order number. Total time on phone... 12 minutes.
I'd say other than being transferred 3 times and having to ask the reps for their names, it was a good call with no delays. I do not recall anything being said at the initial greeting that I had reached Invicta Watch Group... I called back to verify this. Just some cheesy music and the voice saying that "This call may be monitored...."
Now, the question is, will I get my correct part, and, if so, how long will it take? I am pessimistically optimistic.

Rusty: it was our dear friend koi who talked about the other place. i never mention it here. nor do i mention us there. george: here at the invicta forum, i'm sort of a guest like you. i let the forum admins set the groundrules for policy, except when a post violates general WTF guidelines. That said, I feel no need to defend the other place. Each forum has its own culture.

Im done with invicta I have moved on to bigger and better things. If they can't take care of there customers then F them. There is nothing more important than CS when it comes to a watch company, that is why I save my money now and buy Breitling. I am not tring to bash invicta and I still love there designs but you have to draw the line some where.

@chancellor: believe me I understand. I hate it when an Invicta calls my name. I've tried stuffing wax in my ears and having the pugs lash me to the couch so I don't run to the phones... or the computer.

Do all pugs snort and slobber and how do your watches hold up to that abuse?

@echo: Pugs snort and snore, but do not slobber like an English bulldog. They're too polite to do that kind of thing.

I think they have some great designs and I'd love to try a few of the Invicta styles - the meteorite Reserve being one of them. I've never owned an Invicta so I'm curious to try. But I place too much value on good CS and can't reward a company with my money when I read the horror stories too many people go thru. Hopefully some day they'll decide CS is important & fix it and then I'll give them a try. Until then, there many other brands for me to get..

@echo: One other update. I have never know the genteel pug to break wind in public. I always suspect my wife!
