Hi all, yesterday i managed to change my PO bezel. Pooh, i did cost me some nerves but it went ok. Here how it goes: 1) Put some protective tape on the lugs and the strap at 6 o`clock. Better put off the strap. 2) Take a watch knife und move it under the bezel at 6 o`clock. It will take some force. This is the most scary moment. Move it until you here a "click". Don`t turn the knife, that ist not needed. 3) Put a toothpick or something similar in the gap so that it will stay open. 4) Move the knife like a can opener to 9 o`clock. Then the bezel will pop off. 5) Start breathing again ;D . 6) You can mount the new bezel just by pressing it down... Now warranty . Good luck Please share your experiences!! Christian

To be honest: canĀ“t believe it myself, i would not do it every 3 days. The moment you push the knife in your beloved PO.......but i just could not stand trying it..... ;D So go on you guys, make your own experiences...no risk no fun... 3 Straps and 2 bezel=6 different watches!! Picasso, Thanks for the step by step.. As one who never stepped away from a dangerous (or stupid) experiment, I shall try to do the same on mine. I've been very curious as to if & how to change it out. If it breaks, I'll just swap it with Jonathan's! ;D Question though, is a "dull" edged or sharp knife blade better? I would think the duller edged blade as it gives more leverage?

You know Zin - you bring up a good point. I sent my money in for my super deluxe toolkit 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten it yet.... I hope it gets here soon. I have watches to fix - and trees to cut down....

Did you specify priority next day delivery? It cost an additional 20 bucks. ...besides which until, one has had the specific tasks covered in the lectures, one wouldn't be able to use some of the more intricate tools successfully anyway. As you know, some of the tools are vewy, vewy high tek Three weeks is a long time. It's possible some items have to come from abroad. I gather movements from China can be a little slow this time of year ;D ;D ;D Cheers ZIN

Reading your directions I got the very same feelings I used to get before jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, tightness in the stomach and other regions of my lower parts. Congrats brother you bigger coconuts than I, mind you it wouldn't bother me quite so bad with say a Seiko 007 but I will reserve the right to scream at an AD for putting an ugly mark on my PO not the man in the mirror I see him too much daily to ruin the relationship.

Yes thanks Callaway my friend Ms Annthorpe kindly posted a link pf Mike Eng's pictures which were put up not so long ago. He had used a Seamaster rubber strap on his Speedy. But to clarify - I don't have a Speedy yet and would dearly love one especially if it was on a rubber strap with a deployment clasp. That would complete my WIS wants for now I think it's dandy. He had to use a spacer between the case and the strap though, something to do with lining up the strap to the case. Thanks for voting too Cheers ZIN Picture credit - Mike Eng/TZ
