Hey guys,
I just bought a new GMT II 16710 w/ pepsi bezel. Does anyone know a source where I can buy a black bezel.
I just can't get used to the red/blue colors. I bought it just because I wanted a everyday watch...
I think I will like it w/ the blk bezel.
Thanks Tom

Hi Tom, I don't know where you are, i'm in England, but your best bet would be an AD. I recently bought a 1991 GMT II model 16710 with black/red bezel insert, but i'm swapping that for a blue/red! The cost here is £27. You could try a private dealer or e**y, i would always go through an AD personally for the peace of mind, plus the watchmaker at my AD can fit it for me FOC. Regards, Paul. :-)

Yup, I agree. Any AD should be able to order it for you. You'll need the model & serial number of your watch (Rolex won't ship parts without verifying the SN). I bought one for my Sub, and was about $50USD's. And most AD's can even install it for you for a nominal charge should you not wish to do so yourself.
I'd avoid eBay. 99% of the inserts there are aftermarket and may not fit properly. Also, should you ever send it in to Rolex, they wont work on it until you replace it with an original.

True, true. I bought a "high quality after market" piece that the guy claimed would snap-in like an original one.......it didn't. It was too big. On the other hand there are "smaller" ones that conveniently attach via glue. In retrospect I wish I'd put the 20 beans I spent on the fake towards a real one. Just stay away from the fakes. Mike
