Ok, decision made and......... SOLD! I have a friend whose been wanting it for quite awhile, and asks me once or twice a year. So, sold it to him with the condition that should he ever decide to sell it, I get first chance to buy for a set price we agreed upon.... I'm pretty happy as it made his day, and I know it went to a good home that'll get worn & taken care of (and plus I'll get to visit it) and if I get sellers remorse, I can buy it back later if he sells. I don't think I could have sold it to a 'stranger', such as ebay, store trade or the paper as I wouldn't know the home condition it was going to. Actually, I felt pretty good being able to give it to him, almost as if I'd gotten a new watch instead of him. So there it is.. First watch sale ever completed.. Now that the dam's been broke, stay tuned for "Scott's Unbelievable Watch Fire Sale" ;D (NOT!).... Though I will get pictures of it when I get a chance & post.. I know you 'vintage' guys would really like how it looks!

Be a pragmatist Scott, free up the capital for something else and if you regret it down the line you could always get another. I regretted selling my non-date Sub 2 years ago which was why i got another (cosc etc) a couple of weeks ago. I sold a SS Datejust black-dial jubilee bracelet earlier this year and was not sorry. I also sold 3 Omega's and didn't regret that either. Sometimes i find when i think i'm falling out of love with something, the process of deciding to sell it gets me thinking how much i could miss it, and before i know it, i'm smitten all over again! My last peice of advice would be to make your mind up fast, as i think more is lost by indecision than a wrong decision. Good luck! :-)

I really don't think I'll regret it, I haven't worn it for quite awhile and have others I enjoy much more.... And, to be honest I'll admit when I bought it I really wanted the sub, but got a fantastic deal on the GMT, so much I couldn't refuse. Now don't get me wrong. I enjoyed it very much & wore it quite a bit the first few years, so I got my enjoyment out of it. Now my friend can get that same enjoyment.
