Interesting...I wonder how this will effect the International grey market for Rolex watches? Right now, it's fairly easy to buy a grey market Rolex from Europe with open International papers. Maybe that will change?

I like that card MUCH BETTER than the cheesy piece of paper I got with mine just a few weeks ago. Now the $100,000 question. Will Rolex provide me a card if I request one and send in the original certificate?
BTW, doesn't Omega do this?

I don't think Rolex will change the card for you,as we all know...one card goes for one watch...but its a good change in my opinion...more detailed...green and red is already the trademark colours respectively...BTW thanx alot for sharing Hannes!Superb info!Kinda curious where you got the info!Hehehe...

Maybe that will change? i dun think there will be any difference....by not filling in the name and address, it will be an open card...........

What I miss on this card... ...is this: So why donĀ“t we check it under UV-Light ;D And that is what seperates the Rolex cards from other brands cards

I really hope Rolex would consider allowing customers to exchange their warranty paperwork that comes with the watches for a card. This appears to have more credibility.

Good luck buddy!
In their eyes, perhaps it serves as a motivation for us to by MORE Rolex watches, just to get the nifty new "paperwork."
Seems like a few changes going on in the Rolex line and the way they support their product. My plan is to wait until things settle down again before I buy so I can maximize my neat-new-stuff quotient.
