Is there a market for pre-owned Ball watches? I have no trouble finding Omegas or Rolexes; but, Balls seem to be non-existant. Any reason why? Is there a market? Do ADs sell them, or just auction sites?

Do ADs sell them, or just auction sites? I've seen them on TZ once in a great while . My guess is that people are keeping them. When I do see them for sale they seem to move very quickly.

Mr. Foghorn: Thanks for the fast reply; but, I have to ask, as my CRS is flaring up... What is TZ? Thanks.

Some dealers offered pre-owned Ball watches but they are sold very quickly. Many just keep their buys. I have seen some pre-owned offered at eBay but their savings are not that great since NIB Ball watches are not much more expensive.

That is interesting that many do not sell. I see more Rolexes and Omegas; but, never a Ball. Any idea where they fare against Rolex, Omega, and Breitling, for sales?

It's probably just a numbers game. Rolex, Omega, Seiko... sell tons more watches than Ball. Therefore, you will see many more pre-loved ones for sale.

If you are looking for a good watch to buy and keep, Ball has some fine watches to offer...performance wise, they wont fail you if pitted against the more prestigious Rolex, Omega or Breitling. In fact my local AD which happens to be the Omega Authorized Dealer in the city sells a lot of Ball watches due to the demand.

This is my first post, so HELLO! I currently have the Arabic Chronometer in both white and gold dials, the trainmaster small seconds in white, the Fireman 43mm in white, and a Limited Edition chronometer in white, Love them all.
I just wanted to say, before you jump, find out which lume level they used. I had the Trainmaster 60 seconds, and the lume was AWFUL. Just invisible at night. So I sold it. Some of the watches, like the ones I own, use a higer lume (probably get wrist cancer LOL) and can be seen much better at night. Also, the Arabic Chronometers use YELLOW tubes on the numbers and markers, and green tubes on the hands. And a big orange one at the 12. Makes it really easy to see at night, even without the reading glasses. I hope they make more watches with this type of contrast, the Limited Edition chronometer is all green, and it is hard to pick the hands out of the clutter at night.

gotta agree, i bought a black dial engineer master II Chronometer LE where the hands are all green and uses only T25. wasnt aware of all these T25 thingy..its bright enough in the dark to see clearly and make out the time, but then I am an attention seeker so in the drawer that goes..need to find something much brighter. anyone interested in my ball? would sell and get another ball, maybe the hydrocarbon series if i had the chance
