hi people, i wanted to show you my newest watch, i will try to make a good review so you can see how awesome is this swiss made timepiece.
first of all, i own a rolex, so i know what perfection is.
lets start wiTH the especifications of the watch.
Features:
# Case: Stainless steel, screwdown crown and back, sweep seconds
# Size: 42mm
# Weight: 6.8 oz
# Dial: Blue with Super-LumiNova C1 (white) markers
# Glass: Sapphire crystal with date window mag. power 2.5
# Bezel: Color Blue, solid stainless steel with uni-directional bezel
# Water Resistant: 1000 feet (300 meters)
# Bracelet: 22mm SS oyster bracelet with screwed links and solid end pieces
# Clasp: Stainless steel with safety clasp and wetsuit extension
# The watch comes in a beautiful black piano finish box
# Movement: Swiss made self-winding mechanical movement ETA 2824-2, with 25 jewels
the watch has the perfect size, at 42mm its a little bigger than the rolex and the invictas 99xx, looking more sporty and more cool from the distance.
the watch came in a beautiful box.
see the beautiful blue color of the bezel and dial
now, my favorite thing about this watch, the dial!, it is perfect, the lume dots are big, much bigger than the invicta 99xx, so it has more lume.
the other thing that amazed me was the color of the dial, its a blue matte, not the blue founded on the invics that look cheaper.
Look at the lume dots, the color its pure white, very gorgeous, not the cream color of the 99xx.
the crystal, its sapphire, so its very clear and good looking.
the cyclops its a little weak, but it does it work. the bezel fits perfectly in each line.
the clasp here is very similar to the invicta 99xx, but it feels more solid.
the here is the big good diference, the diver extention, its very easy to use and do its work.
i will liked a bigger crown for the size of this watch, but this one looks good, it have he S logo on it.
the bracelet for me is excellent for this watch, its all brushued so its very scratch resistant, and feels very solid.
it has screw in pins like rolex [so it may be good], not the push pins found on the invics., when resizing the bracelet is very easy.
this is simple design but beautiful at the time.
the other thing that i wasn't sure about buying this watch was that it doesn't have a transparent case back, like the invictas, but however.
when i saw this i was amazed, it look much better and solid than any caseback i've ever seen, its perfect. have all the details of the watch printed on the back.
the quality is more appreciable.
now, does the superluminova c1 really glows on this timepiece?
here is the answer:
CONCLUTION
well pals, this is the watch, its quality, feel, fit and finish make this timepiece a must have for any WIS or normal person.
when you put this timepiece on your wirst, you will never take it off, i guarantee that.
Steinhart is a new brand, but! the people who makes this watches has been making swiss timepieces since 1924 so now you see, its not really a new brand, its a new label, but all the quality and watchmaking experience is there, and its very tangible when you hold a Steinhart timepiece.
plus they costumer service is superb.
AND NOW MY FRIENDS, THE BIG LAST PIC, THE STEINHART OCEAN 1 42MM BLU/BLUE ON MY BEAUTIFUL WRIST!!!
