well I emailed the company this morning about getting a replacement watch, however i haven't gotten a response back from them yet. According to their exchange policy they pay shipping both ways....
I guess I am just cursed when it comes to asian watches..... Last year I had purchased an Alpha sub style watch but three weeks after owning it and periodically wearing it, it never would hold a power reserve of more then 4 hours then to top it off the crown threads stripped and bezel began to move freely in both directions...
And now this Attivo is out of sync . The only other Asian watch I own is the Seiko Orange Monster and that even runs about 4 minutes fast over about 1 week (but that's an easy fix).

mine came in, i love it. but i cant seem to move the gmt hands. can anyone fill me in? Your watch may be defective like mine. With the crown pushed in, you can only wind the watch. When you pull the crown out, turning it in one direction should only move the GMT (2nd time zone) hands clockwise. Turning the crown the other way should turn both the regular hands and the GMT hands together in unison. Note: regardless of which direction you turn the crown, the hands always move clockwise; you can not make any hands turn counter-clockwise). Mine was working at first but became intermittent. The turning direction to move all hands in unison always works for me, but when I turn the crown to just move the GMT hands, sometimes it just slips and the hands do not move. If you are having this problem, you should call and arrange for an exchange at their expense. I hope this helps.

I was reading this thread all over again, and I noticed that KW is getting increasingly positive about this one. [glow=red,2,300] IS HE TURNING TO THE DARK SIDE OF CHINESE WATCHES? [/glow] Holy boogers!!! It is now exactly 5 days;
still 2 seconds slow and it spent the last day unworn dial up!

Tell me this isnt the most legal fun you have ever had in your life for $10. ;D Eric is even on a first name basis with a real, live girl. Mine has slowed down a little and is now running at -3 SPD. Hope it doesnt slow down anymore than this. First watch I have ever had that did a "break in" change.

CAREFUL ! SOMETIMES...at this price it could be a cheap way for some people to get your credit card information (assuming you paid using a credit card).
