I was reading John's account of his latest vintage Rolex restoration. I have just had a similar job done (service, new crystal and braclet and case restoration) on an old Chronomat. Still don't know how old but hoping to get that question answered in follow up correspondence with Breitling here in England. The work was done at their service centre here in England and the turnaround was just over a month. It has the gold detailing on the case but the bracelelt is plain steel. The polishing has been done to a great standard.
I would love to show you guys some photos if only I could work out how to add them on this site! JCR [im[img src="[/img]g]"]

Hey JCR, Now they are some pictures that I would like to see, nothing better than seeing nice watches getting a new life. If you go to the forum subsections at the front page of this site and checkout FAQs and guide lines there is section about posting pictures. You will need an image host, which is free and you simply upload your photos to the host and then cut and paste the appropriate link on this forum. And like magic a photo will appear. Regards Aaron
