Oris is independent, and in fact is located in the same building the company was founded in in 1904.

oris is actually using sellita in some of their models, so looks like yes.

I think they strated with the SW200 last year. Any Oris starting in "733" is a Sellita SW200. I believe any new TT1 diver 3 hand is now SW200.

Interesting. Especially in light of the crown issue reported in the "Oris Service: thread. Invicta has crown issues with it's SW 200s. Wonder if the Oris mentioned has it?

Great Maestro I think (but not completely sure) that it is "grades" of Sellitas, as in ETA .....that may be the key for those with issues and the difference for those who don't have any..quality control at Oris is IMHO light years ahead of Invicta , that could be another issue ;D
