Not me, too much for too little in my opinion. Nice looking but looks are not everything. It is what is inside that counts. ;D

Nice looking watch, but simply not my style.

Not for me. With demand so high, I'm curious about whether this watch will appreciate. Jim has a built-in fan base, so the watch has the potential to be a collectible piece, at least in the short term.
It's a nice watch that would look good in a watch box, but not on my wrist. Funny tidbit, anyone else think that having a Chinese symbol on a Swiss Made watch is a bit paradoxical? ;D

Not my cup of tea either although it's a beautiful design. Jim did a great job with the show last night. I guess it was a relief not to see EL banter.
Great job Jim, and really nice watch!

Funny tidbit, anyone else think that having a Chinese symbol on a Swiss Made watch is a bit paradoxical? ;D I agree with both points. I have his Renato Host pick from last year and could still sell it for what I paid for it, but the audience is limited in my opinion. I do not think the watch is that stunning. You could buy a Blancier from our sponsor for about the same price or less. It would built to your specs in Germany and it would be almost one of a kind in a way. It would also be a driven by a handmade mechanical movement. It does not get much better than that in my opinion. Do you think Jim was sub-consciously telling buyers something?

Was a very unusual piece. But I didn't bite.
BTW, my no bling meteorite was oversold. Not in my future...

I think it is really neat that he was able to have impact enough to be able to design a watch. I also think his fan base will buy up a good many of them. However, it is not my cup of tea.

I thought the dial detail was beautiful, but like others, not quite my style. Sounded to me like there could possibly be a second edition in the future Budman

I just see it as more of a design piece than a timepiece. No malice intended.

i thought it was funny too that it was swiss with a dragon japan would have been better and it has arabic numerals should have been dots or some other marker or just have an "8" since those are lucky to the chinese but i think you can see every thing jim loves about watches in the watch SS, gold ,black, green stones, rubies, swiss, arabic numerals, exhibition case back....
