Hello to all forum members and visitors.
I want to take a moment of your time to introduce my new watch line to you. I will be selling watches under the brand name Lyndon International. My watches will be available online from my web site, from my eBay store front and through a couple of brick and mortar Jewelers in Canada. My first watch will be available February 2006. My web site will be up in a couple of weeks as well as my 1-800 number. All watches will have parts manufactured in China and Switzerland and will be assembled in Canada by a watch maker. This project has been worked on for the past year since it started as a germ of an idea all the way through sourcing parts through to contracting with manufactures to create the parts I wanted. It has been a labor of lover and I intend to keep it that way. I have a long history in business and have discovered that customers will only offer long term patronage to a business if they receive quality service and products that are backed up unconditionally.
I have been a member and poster of a few watch forums for several years and have posted on Watchtalk for over a year even though my membership will show only me to be a new member. I had to re-register on Watchtalk. I am not a tech guy and had some trouble with my account. I have also been a regular poster on the old watchuseek Invicta and Rolex forums.
I am a Realtor living in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I have been a Realtor for the past 22 years and in that time have helped over 1,000 families with their real estate needs. In that time I have sold over 90 million dollars worth of residential real estate. I am very happy that I am able to spend my time doing work that I enjoy and pays me reasonably well. I intend to bring to my watch business the same enthusiasm and energy and deliver the same level of customer care and service that has made me successful in real estate sales. You can visit my real estate web site for a bit more info. www.homesinwinnipeg.ca
Thanks for taking the time to read my post and I will post pics as soon as I have them ready. Here are the details of the Lyndon International Series 1
.
Features of the Series 1 Precision Automatic Chronograph are as follows:
Precision Automatic 3 register chronograph movement - seconds, minutes, hours - OR ETA Swiss Valjoux 7750 movement Stainless steel case, case back and deployant clasp Sapphire crystal Calfskin leather strap Black lacquer storage box 3 year comprehensive warranty

Hi there Lyndon,
Your project sounds very interesting. You seem to be on the brink of fulfilling a dream of mine: creating my own timepieces.
Please post any details as you get them. Any idea of a price point yet? Who do you think your main competitors will be?
I wish you good luck in your venture.
Rick.

I am selling the watch in two Retail jewelers in Canada (Dimetria Jewelers and City Jewelers in my home town of Winnipeg) right now for $475 CAD with the Pilot style bracelet and for $425 CAD with leather strap only.
Currently, I have two for sale on eBay right now @ a $299 US buy it now price and an auction start price of $279 US - these ones are being offered with leather straps only.
I will offer the watches with leather strap, deployant clasp and include the stainless steel bracelet for the $279 US price to Watchtalk forum members - or for $239 US without the stainless steel bracelet and with the leather strap and deployant only. I intend to offer the Watchtalk forum prices only to Watchtalk forum members and will hold my other prices as I noted above. This discount will only be offered on Watchtalk forums and nowhere else. Pricing anywhere else will be at the higher levels.
Essentially, Watchtalk forum members will receive the watch with stainless steel bracelet and with leather strap and deployant clasp for the same price as the eBay price of the strap only version.
Shipping will be extra - with only exact cost being charged and no markup on that. Also, there will be no duties charged as this watch falls under the rules of the North American Free Trade Agreement. The price you see is the price you pay.
I will have my small web site up and running in the next few weeks, Orders and inquiries can be placed via email at lyndonm@mts.net
Thanks to all who have posted encouragement and a special thanks to John for his work and taking the time from his very full schedule to review and photo my little watch project. I am truly grateful for the support.

I checked out the auction on e-bay, great looking watch and a very reasonable price. I would like to see the bracelet design. I am excited to place and order.

Only Watchtalk forum members can buy at a lower price that ebay or Retail. Watchtalk members will have the strap version for $239 and the Bracelet version for $279. The regular price is $279 for the strap version and the bracelet version for $329 plus shipping. I have both versions for sale in Canada at two retail jewelers for $425 and $475 respectively. Regards, Lyndon
